It may look like a pretty unsuspecting field for now, but set-up is underway for the Wellington region's newest outdoor concert venue.
For most of the year, McEwan Park on Petone's foreshore is populated by club rugby and table tennis players and dog walkers.
But the next two weeks will see concert goers added to the regulars list, as some of New Zealand's most popular live bands stop off for their summer tours.
